Liberty University Surpasses 135,000 Enrolled Students in Historic Fall 2026 Milestone

Liberty University celebrated a record-setting enrollment milestone today as total active student headcount across residential and digital programs exceeded 135,000 for the Fall 2026 semester.

More than 16,000 residential students arrived at the Lynchburg, Virginia campus, filling modern residence halls, high-tech academic centers, and championship athletic venues, while over 119,000 active students connect daily through Liberty's advanced online digital learning ecosystem.

"Liberty's mission to Train Champions for Christ remains our unwavering beacon," stated University President Dondi Costin. "Whether our students are walking the academic mall in Lynchburg or studying late into the evening from military bases, corporate offices, and family homes worldwide, we are dedicated to providing world-class academic excellence grounded in biblical truth."
